The Project: The Hive Community Bees
To provide support to the community during the COVID 19 pandemic of 2020.
Working with various organisations, groups and individuals who we already know, we aim to provide various online and offline support to our community to promote health & well-being.

The Project: Resilience through the COVID-19 Pandemic
To provide accessible support, either online or directly in small groups for pregnant women and new mums. We can support vulnerable people, those suffering from loneliness due to shielding or self isolation. We can provide health and wellbeing programmes for all ages to ensure the stability of our communities mental health. We can provide training, fun activities for all ages and generally bring our community back together once more.

The Project: Community Business Development
To develop the pre-school, which will enable the charity to have a regular income that will go towards the running costs of the building. To commission a new website. Support with legal matters concerning the long term lease required for the charity to continue using the venue. Support with professional services to carry out a structural survey and an architect to provide a vision for the future of the building. Peer support from other organisations, groups and charities plus the expertise of the Business Support Officer to work with the trustees and Centre Manager to develop the charity.

The Project: Woodland area
We are in the process of developing the land at the side of The Hive to make it into an area that can be used by our Pre-school children and by the community in general. We started with the bug hotel in 2019 and we have plans to build planters, seating areas, paths and much more. The woodland trust have provided us with tree saplings which have now been planted by volunteers and trustees.
