We are offering our Baby Bees and Mini Bees the opportunity to stay connected via WhatsApp with other parents during this lockdown period, since we can’t meet in person at the moment!
If you would like to be part of a WhatsApp group with others who you would have normally attended a group with, then please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your contact number, the age of your baby (so we know which group to put you in) and your permission to use your contact number to add you to a group and we will get you connected.
We look forward to hearing from you.

If you can answer yes to the above questions then The Hive Silsden CIO are looking for your help! We need as many young people who live in Silsden to tell us what they like and don’t like about Silsden, what issues they are experiencing and what activities and facilities they would like to see made available or improved in the future.
We hope that with the information we receive we can set up a ‘Youth Group’ who will be able to influence what facilities, activities and events for young people are made available in the future. We want our young people to develop a project to make things happen in Silsden for them to enjoy and join in and to be proud of what they have achieved. We want to engage as many young people as possible to make a difference to how some people perceive them and to help those within our community who need help and support too.
We will work with public and private sector groups to develop the ‘Youth Group’ as soon as possible and empower our young people to make a difference and to have a bright future.
So if you are aged between 8 and 24 and live in Silsden, please complete this survey to help us to get the information we need so we can find the funding needed to make it happen.
If you have child(ren) who meet this criteria, please encourage them to complete the survey as the more input we get the better.
Please complete our survey – Activities for Young People in Silsden

If you are 24-37 weeks pregnant (and not isolating either due to Midwife advice prior to early delivery or any other reason) we would like to invite you to book onto an informal session where you can get support and guidance, meet other mummies-to-bee and have a brew and a biscuit!
Follow this link to book your place for the next two Thursdays and then hopefully soon we’ll be able to release further dates for the New Year – https://buytickets.at/thehivegroups/454278.
Please note, at this time I’m afraid we are unable to allow partners or siblings to attend.

The Hive Silsden CIO is the registered charity that manage The Hive and this year like many charities, businesses and individuals, we have struggled. We are therefore reaching out to you to help us raise funds so we can continue to provide a venue for our community and host affordable groups for new parents, preschoolers, community cafes, youth club provision and events.
Every year we hold a Christmas raffle and this year is no exception. Our volunteers have been working hard to fill Christmas bags full of goodies for you win – but beware, there may be a ‘boobee’ prize or two within some of the bags!!!
We have 5 raffles available for you to choose from ranging from £1 to £5 per number (beginning number denotes how much the bag is). Click on ‘buy tickets’, choose the numbers you want to purchase and then follow the instructions to complete the checkout (if the number is unavailable, it will say ‘sold out’).
Once you have paid and received an order confirmation the numbers are yours!! Prizes will be available to collect on Saturday 19th December, between 10am – 1pm (please note, we cannot let you know what is in your bag before you collect). If you are self-isolating, please do not come to collect your prize but email us on email@example.com to make alternative arrangements.

We can only accept correct change if you are paying cash, but we are able to take contactless payments – just tell us how much donation you would like to pay on top of the £1 per child charge.
We rely heavily on donations to ensure the smooth running and low cost of groups and activities at The Hive, now even more than ever. When you are making your payment, if you would like to add extra on for a donation, we would very much appreciate it. There are also details here of how you could support us by making a one off or regular monthly donation.
